For each 1K stage they completed a team of volunteers threw dye over the runners.  As you can see by the photo they all ended up looking rather colourful!

March 2015

Cathy accepting flowers at the Charity BallCathy accepting flowers at the Charity BallA special thanks to member Cathy Blain, her family and The Police who for the past 12 months have been fundraising for the SDCS.
Cathy in particular has been extremely busy with her "Station" Tuck Shop, organising events such as a Sponsored Cycle as well as compiling and selling a Policeman's Calendar to name just a few... Her efforts have been a roaring success and she has managed to raise a whopping £7,450.00 for Salford Deaf Children's Society.

Cathy presented her cheque to the SDCS at The SDCS / Policeman's Charity Ball, compered by Key 103's Mike Toolan.

Accepting the cheque on behalf of SDCS were Paul Oddie and Irene Bridgford who were overwhelmed not only by the generosity of money but also of the generosity of time given in organising all of the events which made it all possible.

Cathy gave her heartfelt thanks to SDCS who have been a help to her and her family after her son lost his hearing and on behalf of SDCS we would like to extend our grateful thanks to Cathy for all that she has done and achieved for our group.

THANK YOU

and a huge thank you to everyone else who made it all possible by contributing either time or a donation.
